What is Gel-X?
Gel-X is a soft-gel extension system made by Aprés. Instead of sculpting length from powder, your technician sizes a full-cover gel tip to each nail and bonds it with gel, then cures it under a lamp. The result is thin and light, and it looks like your own nail, only longer.
At NAILS BB we shape Gel-X to whatever you like: almond, coffin, square, stiletto or round, short or extra long. Bring a photo of the set you want and we'll match it.

What to expect
- Nail prep: cuticle care, shaping and a gentle buff so the gel bonds well.
- Sizing: we pick a Gel-X tip for each nail and shape it to your length.
- Apply and cure: each tip is bonded with gel and cured under an LED lamp.
- Color and art: gel color from 5,000+ shades, chrome, French or custom nail art.
Aftercare tips
- Use your fingertips, not your nails, to open cans and peel stickers.
- Apply cuticle oil daily to keep the nail area flexible.
- Come back for removal or a refill instead of picking off your set.

How long do Gel-X nails last?
Many clients wear a Gel-X set for about 3 weeks before a refill or removal. How long it lasts depends on your natural nails, daily activities and aftercare.
Can I get nail art on Gel-X?
Yes. Gel-X is one of the best bases for nail art: chrome, French, 3D bows and charms, rhinestones, hand-painted designs and more.
